"Kambh nikalna"

Some time ago, I suffered from back pain that caused a lot of discomfort. I couldn't sit for long and spent most of my time lying down. The pain didn't seem to ease at all. I had tried many treatments, but nothing worked.

Someone kindly advised me, "Don't worry. You know that in Sindh, elderly people often tie an ajrak (a traditional cloth) from the waist to the knees, especially in rural areas. They bring the ajrak from behind their waist and tie it around their knees when sitting. This practice is called 'Kambh Nikalna.'"
